Don't want to go into how obsessed I am with the dresses because at this point I'm sure y'all are bored with it...but...I AM obsessed!! Lol. Sorry...couldn't help it! Get used to it! :)

So there were a ton of options but I just picked the ones that stood out in some way....

Love!

 LOve! my fave!

Err...I can do without the pearl strip but other than that..me likey
I love how flowy the dress is...and the back too!

 Absolutely love!
Like how you can have two dresses in one..
Like the back of this dress  but wasn't too thrilled with the front.

Would you wear this??? Not sure...

Enjoy!

November 9th Bride: Onyinye

I know, I know...I've been MIA. What can I say I'm a "busy bee"...enjoy today's post:)

I loved doing Onyinye's makeup! To be honest, I was a little nervous when she had contacted me and said she HARDLY wears makeup. For clients like this, I tend to be a little cautious, knowing that I can be a bit "heavy handed" with my application. I didn't want to scare her away..lol...but in the end she gave me the free rein to be as creative I wanted it to be...only thing she didn't want were extremely bright lips! But all's well that ends well...she loved it!!

One of her bridesmaids, little sister Chidi. Gele by moi!
Chidi wanted a bold lip so I decided to go lighter on the eyes..
 Sassy bridesmaid...loved her!
I'm sure you can tell by now that her wedding colors had purple in it!
 Bride before...
 Working...
 Eyes all done...

Yandi fixing up the brides hair..
 Bride, all glammed up!
 Ready to go get married!
Happy married life Mrs Craig!!!

God bless xoxo

FaceByMaori Makeup Class - Mother's day out

...Leave the kids at home...let the husbands baby sit for a change....get some hor d'oeuvres, champagne and come learn how to get glammed up!!! This was what went down this past weekend when I had the privilege of teaching some mom's how to apply their own makeup.

The class started with a demonstration on how to create a simple day time look and then transitioning that look into night time. It was nice to teach this small group of women who have little kids at home and as a result of their busy schedules feel they never have time to put on makeup or never had the opportunity to learn. I was so impressed by how engaged they were. They took every tip I gave with such open ears, minds, hearts...I loved it! I really felt like I was making a difference, no matter how little of an impact it was. Being able to use my "God-given" talent to help other people in any way possible is such a blessing! Ok...enough of the sentiments...here are pictures from the class...Enjoy!

Me and my model, Jossey
Yummy! we had seconds and thirds...
All done setting up. Ready to start...
 Before..
 My class..

From here on, my camera went on strike so we had to resort to using Jossey's phone for pictures!

Night time look - All I did was apply black eye shadow ( MAC eye shadow in carbon) in the crease to create this smokey look. Layered on more blush on her cheeks and voila!

Big shout out to Jossey and Nimi for helping out! Thanks guys!

God bless xoxo
