Getting all glammed up!

The reason I love what I do is simple...I love making people look smoking HOT! Don't get me wrong we are all already "fearfully and wonderfully made" so all I have to do is pretty much just enhance the beauties that God created. A perfect example is my "fly" friend, Hassie. First off, I have to give her a huge shout out for watching my baby all day Saturday while I literally drove round Atlanta working on my clients...[big hug}.

Now, she may not know this but I am always excited to do her makeup because she has such great facial features. Being the diva that she is, we went for a glam look to go with her dress. Here’s a list of the products that I used to create her look.

Hassie’s look
Makeup Forever Mat Velvet + in Shade 80 – Cognac
IMAN Semi Loose Powder in Earth dark
MAC  Select Cover up in NC50
MAC Mineralize Loose Powder in Dark
MAC Eye shadows in Tempting, Folie, Embark and Shroom
MAC retro matte lipstick in Flat out Fabulous
MAC lip gloss in Cultured

Once she was done getting ready, her husband steps out in these A-mazing Ferragamo shoes that I am totally obsessed with...I just had to get a picture of it and share with you guys! …and Yes, the shoes have bows! Love 'em!

Archives: Brave Williams Music Video Shoot

Sometime last year I got the opportunity to work with Brave Williams, a former member of the R & B group Rich Girl. Check them out here Rich Girl .She was extremely sweet, with a kind voice but when she starts spitting out those lyrics…it’s a totally different story all together! For her makeup, she was pretty much open but just wanted a “clean” look and her nose made to look smaller.

MAC eye shadows in Amberlights on lid and orange in the crease. Did a blend of a pink eye shadow (can't remember the color...sorry!) and MAC Shroom eye shadow in her tear duct.
MAC lipstick in Fleshpot to create nude lips with MAC lip glass over it.

Changed it up a bit..MAC Bronze shadow; Eye shadow in Shroom used near her tear duct and blended towards the crease. MAC Eye Kohl in Fascinating to line inside eye. For her lips, I used NARS lip liner pencil in Jungle red and MAC Red Lipstick (lightly applied)

Riri Hearts MAC Fall Collection

...So Rihanna collaborated with MAC cosmetics and launched her Riri hearts MAC summer collection sometime in June of this year. I fell in love with the Riri Woo (matte red) lipstick but guess what??.it sold out in 3 hours! Now I have the inside scoop on the new Riri hearts MAC fall collection set to be launched September 26th in MAC stores and October 3rd in all other locations.

I absolutely love the packaging. I need to go purchase this entire collection...well maybe not the "entire" collection. I might pass on the quad. I feel like I already have those colors in my kit.
Cream color base in Diamonds, $22
Powder blush in Bad Girl Gone Good, $23
Powder blush duo (Bronze and coral) in Hibiscus Kiss, $29
Eyeshadow quad in Smoked Cocoa, $44
Lipsticks in Nude and Talk the Talk, $16.50. 2 great colors for darker skin tones. Talk the talk is a deep plum shade which is so "in" now.
 Lipglass in Riri Woo, $16.50
Veluxe Brow Liner in Deep Dark Brunette, $21.50
Pro Longwear lip pencil in Riri Woo, $21.50
 Liquidlast Liner in Pointblack, $21.50
